The CSI Effect and the Misinformation Epidemic

An article discussing the CSI Effect, a result of widespread forensic related media. The CSI Effect is loosely defined as the misconceptions which are commonly believed in society as a result of media, such as television and films. The mains points of discussion were that crime related TV shows impact societal views, jury proceedings, and criminal activities in both positive and negative ways. A part of the assignment was also to identify examples of the CSI Effect in a video.
